What is CUET?

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), a common entrance exam for 44 central universities and other universities, is administered online. The results of the CUET entrance exam may be used for CUET admission to different undergraduate programs. NTA administered the CUET exam using a computer-based format. From July 15 to August 30, the CUCET Counselling for admission to the 90 participating universities was held. The CUET entrance exam had two shifts and four sections: Section 1A was a language test, Section 1B was an optional language test, Section 2 was a domain-specific test, and Section 3 was a general test. CUCET Counselling Process

The participating university will deliver CUCET counseling via online mode. For admission based on CUET, there is no centrally coordinated counseling available. Separate counseling sessions will be held at each participating university. Based on the candidate’s exam performance, admission will be granted. Candidates must look over the information on CUET Counseling 2022 in the space below.

The cut-off for CUCET 2022 will be made public by participating institutions along with information about the counselling results.
On the official websites of the participating institutes, candidates who meet the cut-off can submit an application for CUET counselling.
All of the involved universities will publish a merit list based on the qualifying exam score, rank, and preferred course.
The names of candidates who are qualified to appear at the counselling location and complete the admission requirements will be listed on the merit list/seat allotment list.
Additionally, central universities will publish category-based merit lists. Each course and the university will have its own merit list.

CUET Counselling Procedure 2022

The counselling process for CUET 2022 contains several steps. All the information on the same is detailed below:-

Every participating Central University will prepare a distinct merit list, and it will be shared on the respective university’s website.
The allotment of seats will be based on the rank attained by the candidate in CUET 2022 exam.
The candidates who have been shortlisted in the merit list will have to register themselves for counselling online on the official website.
The counselling will first be held online and then in offline mode.
The selected candidates will then be required to pay the admission fee to confirm the seat allotment.
